About

Dr. John Kello began his consulting career in the early 1980s by working with a small organizational consulting firm. This experience provided him with a solid foundation in consulting and allowed him to effectively apply his evidence-based research in organizational behavior. His goal was to help organizations develop and maintain positive cultures over the long term.

In 1990, leveraging his background as a Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology, he founded his own consulting company, Kello & Associates.

Since 2014, the company has benefited from the contributions of Alex Kello and Laura Kello. As a family business, they have established trusted relationships with numerous organizations across various industries since the company's inception.

Dr. Kello has also continued his work in academia, mentoring students as a Professor Emeritus at Davidson College and a Graduate Faculty Associate at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As a scientist, he actively contributes to research on organizational effectiveness, and as a practitioner, he applies that knowledge to create a positive impact for his client-partners.
